How it Works

1. When your rego is due.
2. The cost of your rego (if you don’t know how much your rego is we have a link on the home page right under the section where you enter your rego cost that will tell you how much your rego is).
3. The registrations of your car, bike, boat, trailer or caravan you can list on Forget Reg.
4. Your credit card or bank account details depending on how you would like to pay.
5. Never think about your rego again and enjoy life.

How to sign up.
 

1. Use the calculator on our home page to determine your repayments.   The calculator gives you a breakdown of your weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments. This helps you select the plan that works best for you.
2. If you are happy with the repayments, click the "Sign up" button.  Signing up takes around 4 to 5 minutes
3. You then select whether you would like a call back before your account is set up or just and e-mail with your payment plan details.

Now you can relax knowing you never have to worry about your registration again.

Forget Reg is a layby system for any and all types of registration.

Very simply, you pre- pay your registration throughout the year up to your registration due date by making periodic payments in smaller more manageable amounts.
You have the choice of weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments, whichever suits your lifestyle best.

Your last payment is scheduled between two (2) weeks or up to a month before your registration is due.  Once your last payment has been finalised, we take care of paying your registration.
Once Forget Reg has paid your registration, we send you a receipt along with your next year’s payment plan.  The process will continue until you tell us to stop.

There are no lock-in contracts.  You are free to cancel your account with us anytime you like with a full refund minus your relative Administration Fee/s and any outstanding bank fees.

We charge a $5 a month fee for your Forget Reg account.  You can have multiple registrations listed on your account and providing the payments are debited from the one bank account, only one Administration Fee for all!
A short rundown of payments to help you understand.

Should  you have 10 months left until your registration falls due and your yearly registration cost is estimated at $700,  you would pay $75 a month.   $70 for your registration and your $5 a month administration fee, if you added a second or 3rd registration,  their monthly repayments would be $70 if they are the same.  E.g. $700 and 10 months until they are due, there is no extra charge for adding more registrations to your account just the flat $5 a month.

We really make sure you can just set and forget about your registration.
As a valued client you will never have to worry about where to source the lump sum to pay your registration.  You have already paid your registration off throughout the year without even realising it.

We also take out any and all chances of ever forgetting to pay your renewal, which I’m sure there are a lot of people guilty of that. I know I was that is why I started this company.

If you were to get pulled over just once for driving an un-registered vehicle,  that one fine would cover your Forget Reg account keeping fees for over 12 years and when you look at it that way, Forget Reg really does seem like a great idea for everyone.
